The
PA Panthers 11U team paid tribute to Breast
Cancer Awareness Month by playing for
a cause that was meaningful to them. The
team was challenged to raise money to
be donated to United For Her - a a local
cancer support organization. Financial
contributions were made for every run
scored and every error-free inning from
the team over the weekend of October 21-22
(in the Chaos Halloween Tournament played
in Harrisburg PA).
The
Panthers finished the weekend 4-1 scoring
45 runs (against only 13 runs against)
and they had 10 error-free innings. The
team lost a tough battle 2-1 in the semifinals,
finishing third overall.
